Oh, these are so nice! Earthworms as insects indeed, *snorfles*. Actually, I was surprised to find that 2/3 of the people I've asked this question have insisted on answering 'millipedes' or 'spider'. Which are also not, ahem, insects. They are, however, arthropods which your earthworm doesn't even qualify for! Also, i should add that these 2/3 people have all been under the age of 14...
Polka dots are hideous, I agree with you there. I am tempted to say moiré not because I actually love it but because I love the word of it.
